Rocket shot into southern Israel for first time in 40 days
A rocket was shot into southern Israel by terrorists in the Gaza strip for the first time since the beginning of May, the IDF confirmed on Monday night.
The rocket landed in an open field near Kissufim. No damage or injuries reported.
In retaliation to the rocket attack, the IDF struck several Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip in retaliation to a rocket attack earlier that targeted innocent Israeli communities. The IDF hit infrastructure used for underground operations by Hamas and several of the terrorist group’s military positions.
